Railroad buffs will find plenty to celebrate at the third annual Railroad Days today and Saturday at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum, 351 N. Mesilla St. Festivities include a celebration of the Santa Fe Depot’s 100th birthday, a visit from the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, model trains, activities for kids, reenactments and an Old West Medicine Show. Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra Family Concert: Saturday May 8th, 2 p.m. “Musical Instrument Petting Zoo”, & 3 p.m. Family Concert
Share a concert with dinosaurs, get up close and personal with your favorite instrument at a musical “petting zoo” and hear works by talented kid composers at the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra Family Concert at 3 p.m., Saturday at NMSU’s Atkinson Music Center Recital Hall.
