Las Cruces Symphony Xiayin WangThe Las Cruces Symphony presents its second Classics concert of the season on October 30 & 31 in the Atkinson Recital Hall at the NMSU Music Center.  The Classics Two cycle will feature pianist Xiayin Wang performing Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3. The Symphony will also perform Dmitri Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, and Antonin Dvo?ák’s  Symphony No. 8.

Numerous opportunities are available to experience this exciting program:

  • Pre-Concert Luncheon Thursday, October 28, 11:30 a.m., $16 at the Ramada Palms Hotel and Conference Center. Maestro Klein previews the music being performed at the Classics One Concerts.
  • Friday Night at the Symphony, October 29, 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are available at the door for $15 or $5 with valid student ID.
  • Performances Saturday, October 30, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 31, at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are available at $35, $40, or $45. Call 575-646-3709.
