Realtor Billie Haynie is a strong advocate for Picacho Mountain
Billie is a fourth-generation Las Cruces native with a strong family history of business and community involvement in the area. Her mother’s family, all the way back to her great-grandfather, has been involved in real estate in Las Cruces, and many locals are familiar with the family name Stull.
Her father’s family owned cemeteries and was involved in the business of helping people through the difficult transition of losing a loved one. This prompted Billie to go into the mortuary business as her first job until her grandfather convinced her to try real estate.
Bringing out the best of her family’s business legacy
Being in real estate has brought out the best of all that she has gleaned from both sides of her family. With a strong sense of commitment to her community and care for her customers, Billie says her approach to real estate is unique because of her experience in the mortuary business.
“My father taught me how to be a proactive salesperson, finding the solution to the problem, not just selling something and walking away,” says Billie.
Now she is sharing her passion for helping people in a different kind of transition — the transition of finding and selling their homes. Picacho Mountain is proud to have Billie as our lead salesperson, helping our customers find and create the homes of their dreams right here in Las Cruces.
“Our partnership with Billie has been a fantastic move for Picacho Mountain,” says Bob Pofahl, president of Picacho Mountain. “Billie is passionate about serving the people of Las Cruces and it is obvious with everything that she does that she loves this town.”
Billie is all about community, and so is Picacho Mountain!
Billie loves selling at Picacho Mountain because she believes in the strong sense of community that is fostered in the neighborhoods here. Between community events, special services for retirees (such as the concierge program), and all the great people who have chosen Picacho Mountain as their home, there is no reason to feel isolated in a great neighborhood like this.
“We aren’t here just to sell houses,” says Bob. “We believe Picacho Mountain should embody a full and healthy lifestyle that our customers are seeking. My wife Karen and I are excited ourselves to be a part of this community and to have Billie as our lead salesperson, championing this unique feature with our prospective customers.”
This month, Billie’s story about how she came to be part of the Picacho Mountain team is highlighted in Picacho Living Magazine.
