There’s lots to love about the natural beauty and welcoming people of Las Cruces, but a July report done by WalletHub also found that Las Cruces was the #6 best-run city in the U.S.!
WalletHub examined and analyzed the operating efficiency of 150 of the largest U.S. cities by looking at how well city officials manage and spend public funds to give quality services to residents.
After constructing a “Quality of Services” score comprised of 33 key performance indicators, they measured each city’s score against its per-capita budget to rank the best cities in the U.S.

What the report’s findings boil down to is this: though we don’t all see eye to eye on every issue, the city officials in Las Cruces do a great job of listening to citizens and addressing their needs with thought and care.
