I am continually amazed at what a great place Las Cruces, New Mexico is to live. Last week I discovered another reason that I love living here: Skarsgard Farms features local farms that deliver organic fruits, veggies, and other fresh foods in select areas around Las Cruces.
The Las Cruces Farmers Market is one of my favorite places to pick up fresh, locally grown produce each week. That is where I met Charlie, owner of Los Poblanos Organic Farm in Las Cruces. Charlie got me hooked up with Skarsgard Farms online where I am able order his and other New Mexico farmers’ fresh produces. I was amazed at the wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies, locally grown right here New Mexico. And the chance to support our local farmers at the same time? Count me in!
My little ones are loving the farm-fresh blueberries, peaches and carrots from Skarsgard Farms. It is free to sign up for an account on the Skarsgard web site. Then you can order as much or as little as you want each week. There is no minimum weekly requirement, so if you want to skip a week it’s no big deal.
